Subject: cipe half working
From: Omar Armas Aleman <oarmas,AT,mpsnet,DOT,net,DOT,mx>

I have cipe 1.4.3 with RH 7.
My configuration is like this:

[192.168.0.2] windows client
    |
    |
[192.168.0.1 firewall/cipe/linux
 200.X.X.X] real_ip
    |
    |
    |
 Internet
    |
    |
    |
[200.X.X.X firewall/cipe/linux
 192.168.1.1] real_ip
    |
    |
[192.168.1.2] windows client

Cipe is already running, but my problem is that the windows clients
cannot see each other.

For example, I send a ping from 192.168.0.2 to 192.168.1.2 and there's no
response. But If I send a ping from 192.168.0.2 to 192.168.1.1 it works.

So, windows clients see the peer cipe, but not the client behind it.
Any idea about how to solve it?

this is part of my ifconfig:

[oarmas@kaos oarmas]$ /sbin/ifconfig
cipcb0 Link encap:IPIP Tunnel HWaddr
          inet addr:192.168.1.1 P-t-P:192.168.0.1 Mask:255.255.255.255
UP POINTOPOINT NOTRAILERS RUNNING NOARP MTU:1442 Metric:1
          RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:100

Is that mask correct?

A have ipmasquerade and ip_forwarding enabled.
Why do it happen?

Thanks

Omar
