Hello,
I am a VPN newbie looking for clues. I have to set a VPN between 2 computers
up, and tried to run Cipe. My troubles for now are that ciped-cb tells
me that I have incorrect permission on the configuration files in /etc/cipe/
I'm running a Mandrake 7.0 with kernel 2.2.14-15 and Cipe 1.4.4
There is a sample of my logfile:
Nov 16 17:37:21 xor ciped-cb: /etc/cipe/options: incorrect permissions
Nov 16 17:37:21 xor ciped-cb[31749]: missing argument: peer
The permission for my config files are:
[root@xor cipe]# ls -l
total 8
-rw-r--r--??? 1 root???? root??????????
55?? Nov 16 15:37 README
-rwxr-xr-x????? 1 root????
root????????? 533? Nov
16 15:37 ip-down*
-rwxr-xr-x????? 1 root????
root???????? 1723 Nov 16 15:37
ip-up*
-rw-r--r--??? 1 root???? root?????????
697? Nov 16 16:26 options
[root@xor cipe]#
The files have been take directly from the sampl directory after compiling
Cipe.
I've found nothing about this in the cipe.info or the Cipe+Masquerading
mini-howto, sorry if I missed the point somewhere.
