Subject: Newbie takes first few steps and falls

Hello,

I'm working on getting my first CIPE tunnel up and running:

How do I read the documentation? I've never worked with .info and .texinfo
files before. Has anyone converted the documentation to another format
(HTML / PDF)?

So far, I'm getting connected (I think), but I don't know how to use it
(pings never come back). I've setup/installed the kernel module OK, and
got the daemon compiled and running well. The cipcb1 interface shows up in
ifconfig, but I can't ping the remote address. As soon as I start the
daemon on either office, I lose access to both offices (I'm using ssh).

However, as long as ciped-cb daemon is running on either (or both) servers,
I'm lose the connection (ping) to each office. (Which means I can't ssh in
anymore, but I would walk accross the street and fix it). I'm using
'nokey' just until I can get it working. One thing I didn't know: port
numbers. Do I just make them up? What are the defaults? Where are they
assigned?

Office-A has

Thanks for any help or tips,
