I begin to see what I have to do... but :
- Is it possible to use domain names instead of ip address for Lan?Peer (if
not, it's a problem with dynamic IP addressing...) ?
- Who assigned the PTP addresses to you ? Do you mean I don't have to care
about them ?
- In a previous message Damion K. Wilson said : "First (if you haven't done
already), assign an IP address to the adapter using Windows network control
panel." I suppose he was talking about the CIPE VPN adapter. Do I have to
specify an IP address there ? (After installation I have for tcp/ip
properties : "Obtain an IP address automaticaly"). Wich address ?
Thanks for your help.

You can choose any static key. It just has to be the same on both
One machine will have the IP addresses setup the reverse of the other. The
Local address on one is the Peer address on the other. The Lan address are
the actual addresses. Lan Peer would be 18.104.22.168. Your other
computer's Lan Peer is 22.214.171.124. You need to choose a port, but I
don't think it really matters what you choose. You will need to have your
router forward forward that port to your computer. The PTP addresses are
the virtual addresses. (I had mine assigned so I don't know exactly what
the rules are for choosing these)
I have just recently start to try using CIPE, so the cipe list should
correct any mistakes that I made.
