Eric, When I try this, I get the following error message: [root@adsl linux]# cat patchfile | patch -p1 can't find file to patch at input line 6 Perhaps you used the wrong -p or --strip option? The text leading up to this was: -------------------------- |diff -ur cipe-1.4.6/conf/aclocal.m4 |/usr/src/cipe-1.4.6/conf/aclocal.m4 |--- cipe-1.4.6/conf/aclocal.m4? Tue May 30 09:47:03 2000 |+++ /usr/src/cipe-1.4.6/conf/aclocal.m4 Sat May 26 04:15:32 |2001 --------------------------?????????????????????????????????????? Any ideas? Regards, Kyle. That should work!? If the patch is not for the kernel you're using, then apply the patch in the cipe source directory tree. --Eric On Mon, 11 Jun 2001, Kyle Winters wrote: > Please forgive my ignorance, but what exactly do I have to do with this > patch to fix the problem? > Put it in a file and run it??
