Notice that there are no addresses associated with cipcb0, even though
it is a P-t-P link.  Evidently, the attempt to use command line
arguments to set all needed attributes (the "setpar" complaint) did
not succeed.  How is e.g. your key parameter being set, if you are
using command line args?

I have used CIPE in SMP kernels for eons and never had a problem; I've
been using CIPE since 0.5.6.
