I'm using CIPE 1.4.6 on Redhat Linux 7.0 (Kernel 2.2.16-22).
It's working perfectly between my office & my remote office.
Recently we have started one more remote office for which I have
setup another file under /etc/cipe/options.is (Named the device as
"cipcb1" because "cipcb0" is already used by /etc/cipe/options.nc)
& made an entry of /etc/cipe/options.is file under "/etc/rc.d/rc.cipe'.
Before I make any changes I stopped the daemon & then started the daemon
once the changes are done. The problem is second device is not starting at
If you look at my "debug output" at the bottom, you will find that only one
device is started (i.e. "cipcb0" for options.nc). The second Device "cipcb1"
is giving an error.
My old remote office VPN (i.e. device "cipecb0" for "options.nc") works
Because of the error "no such device" I couldn't make the another
device up in order to make VPN work for my new remote office.
Can Anybody help me to figure out what's wrong with the CIPE's SECOND
Does anybody has clue for me. If somebody know the reason then How do I
