Yeah it's all installed and everything.  It's strange that I can do
this:

192.168.220.1 - ISP end.
192.168.220.2 - my end.

isp: ping 192.168.220.2
blah blah blah 30ms.  (works)

my end: ping 192.168.220.1
[nothing]
ctrl-c
100% packet loss.

I'm now looking at the routing tables again.  The ISP end is running
on a 2.2 kernel (2.2.19)
