CIPE looks like the only solution for my networking problem (pretty well
covered in my last rant), so I'd certainly like to give it a shot. If
there's any documentation you could point my to, I'd appreciate it.

I haven't really thought about it. DOS based Windows doesn't have "Services"
(or preemptive multitasking) so porting the service as is would be hard. The
device driver shouldn't have to change much but the way data gets passed in
and out would need adjusting. Furthermore, in light of Microsoft's eagerness
to abandon the technology...
