FYI, it's a fork of SmoothWall.  There are various reasons why this was
done.  If you want guaranteed GPL, IPCop is probably the project you
want to support at this stage.

Both are still based on kernel 2.2 and IPChains.  We'll see if they can
move past SmoothWall and into kernel 2.4 with it's Netfilter
capabilities.  But the integration of Squid, IPSec (c/o FreeSWAN I
believe) and the web-based management (even a HTTP-based install) is
fairly nice.
