Subject: CIPE link went down again

Hi all

I'm using CIPE for a few months now, and besides this annoyance I have found
it to be extremely reliable, convinient and simple to use.

For the second time this month, though, one of my VPN connections has gone
down twice, leaving the following trail:

Mar 29 02:04:03 callisto ciped-cb[23992]: keepalive timeout
Mar 29 02:04:33 callisto last message repeated 2 times
Mar 29 02:04:48 callisto ciped-cb[23992]: kxchg: read(r): Interrupted system
call
Mar 29 02:04:48 callisto ciped-cb[23992]: Interface stats 21261992 155892
1 0 0 1 0 0 18305924 160717 0 0 0 0
0 0
Mar 29 02:04:48 callisto ciped-cb[23992]: KX stats: rreq=0, req=21842,
ind=7906, indb=0, ack=7, ackb=0, unknown=0
Mar 29 02:04:48 callisto ciped-cb[23992]: cipcb0: daemon exiting

Did anyone else encounter this particular problem?

callisto is an old Mandrake with kernel 2.4.5-5mdk, cipe 1.5.2 without the
small packet patch, compiled from source. The other peer behaves normally,
and it is a Redhat Linux 7.1 with kernel 2.4.3-12, and cipe 1.5.2 without
the small packet patch, compiled from source.
