Hello All,
Forgive me if this is a well known situation, but it is the first time
I noticed it and wanted to ask about it:
We've a server that is a hub for Cipe links. It's a Red Hat 7.2 box.
This is a new box, the old one was a 6.1. As I started bringing up
the cipe links (all came up, all work) I noted this when checking on
them via ifconfig:
cipcb6 Link encap:IPIP Tunnel HWaddr
inet addr:192.168.65.1 P-t-P:192.168.60.1 Mask:255.255.255.255
UP POINTOPOINT NOTRAILERS RUNNING NOARP MTU:1442 Metric:1
RX packets:71041 errors:177 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:177
TX packets:58704 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0 txqueuelen:100
RX bytes:6554944 (6.2 Mb) TX bytes:16514856 (15.7 Mb)
cipcb6 Link encap:IPIP Tunnel HWaddr
inet addr:192.168.65.1 P-t-P:192.168.60.1 Mask:255.255.255.255
UP POINTOPOINT NOTRAILERS RUNNING NOARP MTU:1442 Metric:1
Note there are two entries. This wasn't in order, there are several links and
I didn't
want to fill up the post when one example would do. But first came the
"full" listing
and later a partial one.
Anyone ever see this? Again, it works, but I don't recall it on the old box.
Thanks in advance,
Mike
