Hi Stephan,

Get a copy of this file cipecfg-1.0-0.i386.rpm or the equiv for SuSE if it
is different. This made it a whole lot easier to get started.
All the cipe configuration is
in /etc/cipe and /etc/sysconfig/network-script/ifcfg-cipcb0

This link is worth a visit as well
http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/mini/Cipe+Masq.html

-------------------------------------
/etc/sysconfig/network-script/ifcfg-cipcb01
-------------------------------------
PTPADDR="192.168.1.1"                 << remote network
IPADDR="eth0" << I think this is the device
connected to the real
                                         network, it's working for me that
way.
ONBOOT=yes
USERCTL=yes
DEVICE="cipcb02"

--------------------------------------
/etc/cipe/options.cipcb01
--------------------------------------
key = xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx << your key.
                                      << make sure both ends have the same
key

me = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:6789             << real local Address
tokey = 0
ping = 0
maxerr = 10
dynip
peer = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:6543           << real remote address
ipaddr = 192.168.0.1                  << local network
ptpaddr = 192.168.1.1                 << remote network
