look in /etc/modules.conf for:
alias cipcb0 cipcb
alias cipcb1 cipcb
options cipcb cipe_maxdev=2 cipe_debug=0
maybe you should change the options line and reload the modules...
PS (this is suse 7.3, maybe it's different on 7.2)
