Title: RE: Win2000 to linux cipe..

hi, This is why I'm baffled...
It looks like it's working, but any other services seam to fail...
I know I'm getting a constant 10% packet loss over the cipe tunnel when
pinging the remote tunnel ip.

I'm off on holiday tomorrow so I'll look at it again in a week or so

Are you *absolutely* sure there's no packet filtering/firewalling?

If you can http through the connection, then it's working... cipe
doesn't care what ports you're using over it's tunnel, so it doesn't
make sense that port 80 would work and port 23 or 22 would not.

Hmm.. ok playing with cipe again.
Managed to get the tunnel up ok, but can only get HTTP & ping to work..
Other things like VNC , ssh/telnet and ftp all fail
Does any one know what could couse this?
