Thats the source of my confusion !!

I was considering the cipe interface and the internal ethernet interface
with the SAME ip address. In fact, that's the setup I have working now
between 5 remote sites and a central one.
All the time I was thinking with this limitation.

Now, I see the light !! Yes!
