can you recommend a troubleshooting methodology for the Win32 side of a Win32
to Linux VPN.? When running "cipsrvr console" on the Windows 2000 workstation
I see it bringing the peer up and it says it is initiating a CT_PING? I sniff
the network st the same time and see no packets from the windows machine.?
Any suggestions?

CIPE-Win32 doesn't use hostnames yet, only dotted quad IP addresses. It's on
my list of things to do (as well as rewriting the control panel applet). For
that matter, I didn't know that CIPE was using hostnames either.
