Subject: Love CIPE, can't stop the logs

Old problem, CIPE and NetFilter spew gobs into the logs... I've followed the
advice to recompile linux kernel 2.4.19 with Netfilter Debug OUT, but the
logging still continues. My 'messages' log is enormous with my multiple CIPE
connections. I HAVE TO STOP THIS (I feel like the Grinch)
PLEASE HELP.

Relevant excerpts:

kernel 2.4.19
file: "/usr/src/linux/.config":
# CONFIG_NETFILTER_DEBUG is not set

file: "/etc/modules.conf":
alias cipcb0 cipcb
alias cipcb1 cipcb
alias cipcb2 cipcb
alias cipcb3 cipcb
options cipcb cipe_debug=0

Am I missing something? I can't get Netfilter to shut up. I've done 'make
clean' with the kernel recompile, btw.
