Hello CIPE users,
Can someone please help me with the following:
I have two win2k boxes, two routers and two internet addresses.
The gateway is the ADSL router (126.96.36.199)
The firewalls can reach the internet via the gateway (188.8.131.52) and
can ping each other, of course.
I have set this up in the office, hence the two firewalls are on the
same subnet, just to test CIPE.
I have set it up like this:
Local ip: 10.10.10.132/255.255.255.0, gateway 10.10.10.123
CIPE: 192.168.145.132/255.255.255.0, no gateway
Local ip: 10.10.10.123/255.255.255.0
Internet ip: 184.108.40.206/255.255.255.248, gateway 220.127.116.11
Port forewarding: port 9999 to 10.10.10.132
Internet ip: 18.104.22.168/255.255.255.248, gateway 22.214.171.124
Local ip: 10.20.20.20/255.255.255.0
Port forewarding: port 9999 to 10.20.20.1
Local ip: 10.20.20.1/255.255.255.0, gateway 10.20.20.20
CIPE: 192.168.145.1, no gateway
On the win2k-a box I have filled in the CIPE stuff as follows:
Local lan: 10.10.10.132, local port 9999
Peer ip address: 126.96.36.199 (tried 27 too) peer port 9999
Local ptp 192.168.145.132
Peer ptp 192.168.145.1
On the win2k-b box I have filled in the CIPE stuff as follows:
Local lan: 10.20.20.1, local port 9999
Peer ip address: 188.8.131.52 (tried 29 too) peer port 9999
Local ptp 192.168.145.1
Peer ptp 192.168.145.132
I have used an easy encripton key, ticked the Enable box, checked all
services running but still I cannot ping either boxes.
I have applied a static route on box b saying: (route add) 10.10.10.132
mask 255.255.255.0 (gateway) 192.168.145.1
Deleted that one and tried (route add) 10.10.10.132 mask 255.255.255.0
(gateway) 192.168.145.132. None worked
What am I doing wrong?
Thank you for your help!
