I run NAT over CIPE 1.5.4 on 2.4.18 without any apparent problem apart from
large packets and PMTUD. I'm still hoping that the person that suggested
using iptables to clamp mss to pmtu can provide more information either
where they found that out, or if they know, why it works and what it
changes.

Thanks,

Subject: CIPE 1.5.4 / NAT / iptables issue

Hello
I'd like to use NAT with CIPE (nat throught cipe). I've got kernel 2.4.20
and cipe 1.5.4. the tunnel works fine
and the two machines can see each other just fine. The attempt to use
iptables to setup nat was unsuccesfull.
I've read that there are some issues with cipe 1.5.2 and iptables and that
with kernel 2.2.x and ipchains with cipe works
fine. Is that the case with cipe 1.5.4 too?
