Does anyone have cipe-1.6.0 working on Fedora Core2 ?

Fedora Core release 2 (Tettnang)
[root@uranus root]# uname -r
2.6.7-1.494.2.2custom

Does this mean you rebuilt/installed the whole kernel instead of just the module?

Yes, I rebuilt the kernel first. I don't think it works otherwise, at least for me.

There's a couple of "gotchas" too. After rebuilding the kernel, be sure to remove any old cipcb.o from /lib/modules/; do a 'find /lib/modules -name cipcb.o' to see if there are duplicates.

Gotcha #2: A header file may be incorrectly placed in '/'. I had to move it after running ./configure:
mv -v /config.h /home/joe/downloads/cipe/cipe-linux/2.6.6-1.435custom-i386-cb/
