Hello,

can anyone give me a hint as to what I need to do to fix the following make? I'm using the 2.6.5-7.108 source from SUSE.
Thanks for any help
Dave

linux:/home/dlusty/cipe/cipe-1.6.0 # make
gmake -C lib all

ln -sf ../cipe/*.[chS] .
ln -sf crc32.c ucrc32.c
gmake -C /usr/src/linux-2.6.5-7.108 SUBDIRS=/home/dlusty/cipe/cipe-1.6.0/2.6.5-7.108-default-i386-cb modules
gmake[2]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.5-7.108'

Looks like there's no config file which describes your kernel configuration in the /usr/src/linux tree. The following is completely untested but could fix your problems:

cd /usr/src/linux-2.6.5-7*/
make cloneconfig
make dep

cd /home/dlusty/cipe/cipe-1.6.0
make distclean
make config
make

Best regards,
