Isnt the reality that Gutmann like so many other experts for hire cant support a free protocoll, simply becouse that would kill their market for exencive security solutions? I have used cipe in many systems and solutions both alone and together with other security software, a common practice (atleast here) is to separate high security and low security stuff with separate encryptions. ie send encrypted hi security documents and mail throu a lower security tunnel between offices. So if someone wants to spend a cpl of 1000 $ on reading bout Maria in the sales dep getting married then let em, if they want the good stuff they r in for a nasty surprise after getting throu the cipe tunnel :-). So far that is all the argumentation i need to convince clients that they dont need 100000$ harware/software to sleep good at night. But then, im that litle prick stealing costumers from big security companies living on the billed hours and not the sales of goods... U dont need to scare ppl into using security hardware/software, only to make them pay overly much for it. // GL sry for may bad english.
